On March 2, the Changzhou Science and Technology Park for Taiwan Enterprises officially broke ground in the Binjiang Economic Development Zone. Designed as a full-ecosystem, high-quality innovation benchmark, the Park, upon completion, will integrate R&D, smart manufacturing, and service functions. This project marks a significant step in accelerating major project construction to boost regional economic development.

The Park, mainly constructed by Changzhou Nystar Corporate Management Co., Ltd. A Taiwan-funded enterprise, has a total investment of 50 million USD, with 130,000 m2 of newly developed area. The Park will focus on building high-quality incubators, accelerators and makerspace for sci-tech innovation. Meanwhile, it will promote offshore incubators to settle in Changzhou, injecting strong impetus to the industrial transformation in the Binjiang Economic Development Zone.

The year 2026 marks the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan period. The Binjiang Economic Development Zone has included 53 projects in the district-level key project construction plan, comprising 44 implementation projects and 9 preparatory projects. For this year, it aims to commence construction on 33 projects and complete and commission 29 projects. A significant push is planned for the first quarter alone, with 28 key projects scheduled to break ground. The Binjiang Economic Development Zone remains committed to its "project-first" philosophy, providing precise, end-to-end support for all major projects to build a solid foundation for high-quality development.
