Recently, the People's Government of Jintan District, Changzhou City, has announced its intended approval opinion on the environmental impact assessment documents for the "New System Solid-State Electrolyte Materials and Solid-State Battery Preparation Capability Enhancement Project" and made it public. The project is to be constructed by CALB Technology Research Institute (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of CALB. With a total planned investment of 120 million yuan, it is primarily intended for purchasing equipment related to new system solid-state electrolyte materials and solid-state batteries, aiming to enhance the preparation level of all-solid-state batteries. Upon completion, the project is expected to achieve experimental capability for all-solid-state electrolyte at the metric ton level and possess a pilot-scale solid-state battery capacity of 0.2 GWh.
