Wang Jianfeng, secretary of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, met with Frank Natus, CEO of Germany’s NATUS GmbH & Co. KG, and his delegation on November 27. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening industrial collaboration.

During the meeting, Wang welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of Changzhou's economic and social development achievements. He noted Germany's position as a key trade partner for Changzhou, with many German enterprises thriving in the city's robust industrial ecosystem.

Wang highlighted Changzhou's strategic focus on industrial revitalization through its 10+28 modern industrial system, which has driven rapid development in sectors including new energy, new materials, and emerging industries like low-altitude economy and artificial intelligence. He expressed confidence that NATUS could expand its footprint in Changzhou through additional high-quality projects and innovation resources.

The city remains committed to perfecting its top-tier business environment governed by market principles, rule of law and international benchmarks, Wang noted, pledging institutionalized support for enterprises' growth across industrial chains.

Frank Natus thanked Changzhou's municipal and district governments for their longstanding, pragmatic support since NATUS's establishment here 16 years ago. He lauded Changzhou's industrial completeness and business-friendly policies as fundamental reasons for the company's decision to expand its presence in the city.

Signaling this commitment, NATUS announced plans for its new campus in Changzhou, which will serve as the company's Asia-Pacific research and production base. The facility represents NATUS's continued investment in the local market and its strategy to engage more deeply with Belt and Road Initiative opportunities. Additionally, the company is exploring applications of its technologies in the low-altitude economy sector and seeking collaboration opportunities in Changzhou.

Founded in 1956 and headquartered in Trier, Germany, NATUS GmbH & Co. KG specializes in industrial power solutions. The company established its Changzhou operations in 2009 and has since expanded its local research capabilities and product lines. NATUS Changzhou now offers comprehensive solutions including low and medium-voltage switchgear, energy storage systems, and components for the new energy sector.

The newly completed NATUS Electric Equipment Industrial Park represents a RMB 1 billion investment in Tianning district's Diaozhuang subdistrict. Designed as an integrated production and research hub, the park has already attracted eight partner companies from across the supply chain.
