On January 23, the public concerned landscape tower of Zijing Park, under the  site supervision and inspection carried out by the Special Inspection Institute subordinated to AQSIQ , has completed the installation of tracks and Ferris wheel and has started the curtain wall construction. The landscape tower’s steel structure without support tire rack is a national initiative technology. It is expected to be open to public during this year’s National Holiday.

    It is known that Zijing Park commenced the construction of its landscape tower in 2009. The tower features the biggest span of 89 meters, a height of 84meters and 24 sightseeing cars around the wheel. Its running speed is very low and the average speed is 0.2m/sec.
