The National Intellectual Property Administration has announced the results of the 25th China Patent Awards, with 12 projects from Changzhou earning national recognition for innovation and technical excellence.
Among them, Trina Solar Co., Ltd. received the China Patent Silver Award for its patent titled “A Method for Estimating the Ratio of Direct Solar Radiation Using Dual Irradiance Meters.”
The following 11 projects were awarded China Patent Excellence Awards: CRRC Qishuyan Institute Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Changfa Agricultural Equipment Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Riying Electronics Co., Ltd., Changzhou Institute of Building Research Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Hengli Hydraulic Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Jiaxuan Intelligent Industrial Technology Co., Ltd., CALB Group Co., Ltd., Changzhou University, Jiangsu Jiahe Electronic Materials Co., Ltd., Everbright Environmental Protection Technology and Equipment (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. and Changzhou Hengbang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
In recent years, Changzhou has embraced a high-quality development strategy in intellectual property, introducing a series of policies to build a strong IP ecosystem and promote the creation of high-value patents.
As of now, the city has accumulated a total of 96 China Patent Awards, including 1 Gold Award, 6 Silver Awards, and 79 Excellence Awards for invention patents, as well as 1 Silver Award and 9 Excellence Awards for industrial design patents—underscoring its growing influence in China’s innovation landscape.
