The 2025 Changzhou “Double Festival” Film Season officially launched on October 1, bringing residents a cultural celebration where cinema meets cuisine. Co-organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and the Changzhou Film Projection Association, the event runs until December 31 under the theme “Light and Shadow in Dragon City: Sharing the Joy of Life.”

To encourage participation, organizers will distribute 19,000 cinema vouchers both online and offline during the three-month campaign. From October 1–8, coinciding with the National Day holiday, the Changyingtong ticketing platform has released 1,000 "Spend ¥35, Save ¥15" coupons daily. Starting mid-October through December, an additional 800 vouchers will be available every Friday to Sunday.

The festival prioritizes inclusivity with discounted tickets and charity screenings. Senior citizens aged 60 and above can enjoy concession tickets priced at ¥19.9 at participating cinemas, including Changzhou Asia Film & TV Town and Cultural Plaza Qilong Cinema, while valid ID holders may purchase ¥35 general admission vouchers. Additionally, organizers have partnered with the Changzhou Disabled Persons’ Federation, local welfare institutions, and volunteer groups to host two free monthly screenings for vulnerable communities, reaffirming Changzhou’s dedication to inclusive cultural experiences.
