On July 7, the first event of the 2026 "Hua Luogeng Cup" Changzhou Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition—the AI Data Center Thematic Challenge Final—came to a successful conclusion. Thirty-one outstanding projects competed on the same stage, with several cutting-edge technology projects standing out.

The 31 finalist projects included 18 enterprise projects and 13 team projects. The final was conducted in a closed-door, offline roadshow. After multiple rounds of rigorous evaluation, all major awards were announced. Jiangsu Mainline Commercial Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd. won the first prize in the enterprise category with its "Industrial Innovation Project for Intelligent Connected Commercial Vehicles Based on L4 Autonomous Driving Technology." The Alex Team's chip innovation project claimed the first prize in the team category.

The first-prize enterprise project leverages the company's years of deep technical accumulation and mature commercial experience in commercial vehicle autonomous driving. Centered around its self-developed L4 autonomous driving system, the project has already established a cloud-based data loop system that supports large-scale L4 autonomous driving operations, forming a complete closed loop of "data collection—model evolution—vehicle deployment." This provides solid support for the iteration of core algorithms and enables the construction of a full-scenario product ecosystem.

At the same time, the project is progressively building a commercialization path that spans from R&D of core components for intelligent connected commercial vehicles to vehicle sales and operations, and from smart city brain systems to multi-scenario generalized applications. Leveraging cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies, it aims to lead the development of intelligent connected vehicles and drive the digital and intelligent transformation and upgrading of the new energy vehicle industry.

Currently, leveraging its solid foundation in new energy and high-end manufacturing, Changzhou is actively seizing the opportunities in the computing power economy, advancing the development of the AI-native hyper-interconnected industry, and forging new advantages in computing-power synergy. As the city's core hub for AIDC (AI Data Center) industry development, the Changzhou National High-tech District (CND) has taken a forward-looking approach to industrial planning, having already gathered a cluster of high-quality enterprises across the entire value chain—including source-grid-load-storage systems, green power direct connections, and intelligent management and control—and established a full-chain development platform covering technology R&D, achievement commercialization, and project implementation.

Going forward, the Changzhou CND will leverage the competition to attract talent and pool expertise, build an industrial base to foster entrepreneurship, continuously drive breakthroughs in core technologies, accelerate the commercialization of scientific and technological innovations, and sustain innovation and breakthroughs in computing-power-related tracks such as intelligent computing and autonomous driving, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of the city's computing power industry.
