Recently, the Changzhou Science and Education Town Industrial Investment Fund completed its angel round investment in ClouDreaMountain (Changzhou) Technology Co., Ltd., marking a significant breakthrough in the funding of the local aerospace industry.

As a high-tech aerospace enterprise receiving focused support from the Science and Education Town, ClouDreaMountain Technology has, since its establishment in 2021, specialized in the R&D and manufacturing of aviation-grade ignition systems, electric propulsion systems, and actuation systems. The company has developed a full product line ranging from 1kW to 600kW. Backed by R&D centers in Ningbo and Beijing as well as a production base in Changzhou, ClouDreaMountain has built strong technological advantages in aviation-grade electric drive systems. Its products have gained market recognition across a variety of sectors, including civil aviation and general aviation.

The investment was executed by Qitai Venture Capital, the fund’s management firm, and is aimed at supporting the commercialization of electric drive systems for civil aviation.

In recent years, Changzhou Science and Education Town has prioritized aerospace as a key industry. Through the professional management of Qitai Venture Capital, it has successfully invested in several leading companies such as Xingchi Space, Huayi Aviation, and Fengfei Smart Control, accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

Currently, the Science and Education Town continues to explore an innovative “fund + park” development model, using capital as a bridge to promote collaborative innovation across the industrial chain. It is working to build a complete innovation ecosystem—from core technology R&D to industrialization—while actively supporting enterprises with core technologies to establish integrated corporate headquarters that combine R&D centers and production bases, further driving the development of new quality productive forces and enhancing the region’s industrial competitiveness.
