The State Administration for Market Regulation has recently announced the first batch of national pilot zones for "Quality Strong County (District/Town)" initiatives. Changzhou's Wujin District was selected under the category of "Integrated Application and Innovation of Quality Infrastructure Systems," becoming one of only four regions in Jiangsu Province to make the list.

This national initiative is part of China's broader effort to advance the "Quality Power Nation" strategy, explore new paths for regional quality development, and establish national benchmarks for quality improvement at the county and district levels.

The pilot aligns with the Yangtze River Delta integration strategy and the requirements for cultivating new quality productive forces. It aims to inject fresh momentum into Wujin's industrial growth and provide a model for the joint construction and sharing of  quality infrastructure across Jiangsu.

According to the pilot plan, Wujin will develop a "1+N" quality service network, enhance the functions of local "Quality Service Stations," and establish a "15-minute quality service circle." The district will also set up "Quality Benchmark Workshops" in key industrial sectors and create a quality information-sharing platform. A "Quality Code" mini-program will be launched to enable blockchain-based data verification and risk warnings, while a "Quality Clinic" system will offer on-site diagnostic and advisory services.

Wujin has already built a solid foundation for this initiative, with three national-level and seven provincial-level quality inspection centers, and four "one-stop" industrial service platforms offering integrated, full-chain responses. The district has also established one national and two provincial standards committees focused on industries such as new energy vehicles and intelligent robotics.

Additionally, two national metrology and testing centers are currently under construction, and several quality infrastructure projects are progressing steadily, providing strong support for the implementation of this pilot program.
