To accommodate surging passenger demand during the upcoming Spring Festival travel rush, Changzhou Airport will significantly increase flight frequencies on multiple routes.
Between February 17 and 26, the Macao route (NX107/NX108) will see additional weekly flights every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, elevating service to daily departures.
The Hong Kong route (UO272/UO273) will gain an additional Monday flight from February 2 through March 28, increasing to four weekly flights. During this same period, the Guiyang route (GY7271/GY7272) will receive daily supplemental flights, offering passengers three to four daily departure options.
Further augmenting its network, Changzhou Airport will enhance service to Taiyuan (DR5361/DR5362) with additional Monday, Wednesday and Friday flights from February 13 to March 13, achieving daily frequency. The Jieyang route (9C6275/9C6276) will similarly expand with supplementary Monday and Sunday flights during this timeframe, growing to three or four daily departures.
Concurrently, the airport celebrates a major operational milestone with regulatory approval of its radar control system. This advancement reduces minimum aircraft separation from approximately 50 kilometers to just 5.6 kilometers - a breakthrough that greatly improves airspace capacity and operational efficiency. These enhancements establish critical infrastructure supporting Changzhou Airport's emerging role as a vital regional hub and its contributions to the Yangtze River Delta's developing low-altitude economy.
