The 139th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) opened in Guangzhou on April 15, with Changzhou sending a delegation of 361 enterprises, 670 booths and more than 2,000 representatives to showcase its manufacturing capabilities and product quality, while seeking new export orders and expanding into global markets.

The fair is being held in three phases. Under the theme of “smart manufacturing and quality living,” Changzhou exhibitors are strategically positioned across key sectors.

The first phase, running from April 15 to 19, focuses on advanced manufacturing. A total of 216 companies with 398 booths are presenting products in areas including new energy, power equipment, agricultural machinery, home appliances, hardware tools and auto parts. Leading firms such as Changchai, KOOP and Dongfeng Agricultural Machinery are featuring prominently with specially designed booths, highlighting the strengths of specialized and innovative enterprises and industrial clusters.

The second phase, from April 23 to 27, highlights quality living. Some 79 companies with 120 booths are showcasing products ranging from building materials and sanitary ware to kitchenware and gifts. Companies including Zhongxin Pridon New Material and BBL Home Technology are presenting integrated supply chain solutions and lifestyle-oriented products.

The third phase, scheduled for May 1 to 5, centers on fashion and wellness. A total of 88 companies with 152 booths are displaying products such as home textiles, apparel, healthcare products, pet supplies, luggage and toys. Enterprises including Huameida Carpet, Golden Spring Textile, Airwheel and Qiao Yu Group are demonstrating innovations in niche segments to meet the diverse needs of global buyers.

In response to a complex external trade environment, Changzhou has provided comprehensive support, including pre-event training and on-site services, to help enterprises expand markets and secure orders.

Participating companies said they will take the fair as an opportunity to present Changzhou’s upgrade from “manufacturing” to “smart manufacturing” to global buyers, further enhancing the international profile of Changzhou-made products.
