Recently, Changzhou Xingyu Automotive Lighting Systems Co., Ltd. officially launched its Intelligent Automotive Electronics and Vision Systems Industrial Center and Benniu Base Project, with a total investment of RMB 5 billion. Wang Jianfeng, secretary of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, announced the commencement of construction.

Xingyu has long been dedicated to the R&D, design, manufacturing, and sales of automotive lighting, intelligent electronic components, and vehicle vision systems. It is one of China’s leading manufacturers and solution providers of complete automotive lighting assemblies. The company has successively been recognized as a National Champion Demonstration Enterprise, a National Enterprise Technology Center, a National Industrial Design Center, a National Smart Manufacturing Demonstration Plant, a National Green Factory, and a National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise.

The new project, with a total planned floor area of about 250,000 square meters, will include six main plants. Upon completion and full operation, the center will achieve a production capacity of over 10 million sets of intelligent automotive lighting assemblies. It will focus on addressing the company’s process and capacity planning needs for the next five to ten years, supporting the establishment of a comprehensive process framework and enhancing digital and intelligent manufacturing levels.

During the event, Wang Jianfeng also visited the production lines at Xingyu’s Luoxi Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, where he gained a detailed understanding of the company’s technological innovation and product upgrades. He encouraged the company to continue deepening its presence in niche markets, drive industrial innovation through technological innovation, focus on expanding market share, pursue excellence in maintaining product competitiveness, and seize the initiative in global competition.

Zhou Xiaoping, chairwoman of Xingyu, stated that the company has always been rooted in Changzhou and has comprehensively implemented its headquarters strategy. Moving forward, it will further enhance automation, intelligentization, and digitalization capabilities, fully advance innovation-driven development, and strive for new achievements.
