Vice Mayor Pan Dongling recently met with Stefan Engleder, Chief Executive Officer of ENGEL Group, to discuss further deepening cooperation between the two sides.

ENGEL Group, headquartered in Austria, is a global leader in injection moulding machinery with more than 60 years of industry experience. The company operates nine manufacturing plants worldwide and maintains subsidiaries and representative offices in over 80 countries and regions.

In 2013, ENGEL Injection Moulding Machinery (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. was established in Wujin National High-tech Zone, with a 2,200-square-metre first-phase plant. In 2018, the company expanded its investment to launch a second-phase project, further strengthening its manufacturing base in China.

Vice Mayor Pan welcomed Mr Engleder and his delegation, expressing hope that ENGEL will continue to invest and expand its footprint in Changzhou, deepen exchanges, and explore broader fields of cooperation. Mr Engleder said Changzhou remains one of ENGEL’s most important global markets, and the company will continue to increase investment and pursue pragmatic collaboration in technological innovation, research, and production.
