The 2026 Qingfeng Camping Season kicked off on April 4 at Qingfeng Park in Changzhou and will run until May 5.
Organized by the city’s Urban Management Bureau and hosted by the Municipal Administration Center of Parks, the event features immersive camping experiences that combine nature appreciation, family-friendly activities and cultural programs. It aims to promote the park as a springtime leisure destination, offering residents a chance to enjoy a slower pace of life close to nature.
The initiative also reflects Changzhou’s efforts to promote the “park+” model by integrating recreation, culture and tourism, and to develop new urban leisure brands.
Activities are centered around the park’s southern and central lawns, bringing together natural settings, artistic elements and wellness-focused lifestyles. Highlights include themed events such as spring outdoor activities, live music performances, nature photography, floral experiences, open-air film screenings and art markets.
Meanwhile, the 2026 Jiangsu Park Life Season is set to kick off on April 9. As one of the sub-venues, Qingfeng Park will host a range of activities.
These include a camping program that encourages visitors to relax on the grass, watch the clouds, enjoy the flowers and explore nature — offering a laid-back outdoor experience without leaving the city. A lawn concert series will feature folk music performances in a natural setting, while public talks will introduce floral culture, ecological value and everyday aesthetics. Open-air film screenings will also be held, using the lawn as seating and the night sky as a backdrop.
In addition, the park will host local cultural and creative brands, handicrafts and regional food vendors, providing a diverse range of services to enhance the visitor experience.
