On January 30, an agreement was signed for the establishment of Goldwind’s Zero-Carbon East China Headquarters Base at the Sino-German (Changzhou) Innovation Industrial Park. Fang Jing, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and vice mayor of Changzhou, witnessed the signing ceremony.

Beijing Goldwind Carbon Neutral Energy Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd., a global leader in the wind power industry. The company focuses on energy storage equipment as well as energy and carbon management services. Leveraging artificial intelligence and digital IoT technologies, it provides clean, grid-friendly and cost-efficient energy solutions for new power systems. Its local subsidiary, Changzhou Goldwind Energy Storage Science & Technology Co., Ltd., based in Jintan district, has delivered solid operational results in recent years, injecting strong momentum into local economic development.

The signing of the project marks a key step in deepening strategic cooperation between the two sides. The project will include the construction of an energy storage equipment production line with an annual capacity of 10 GWh, focusing on the research, production and sales of energy storage batteries, prefabricated cabins and inverters. Once fully operational, the project is expected to further strengthen Changzhou’s energy storage industrial chain and enhance the region’s competitiveness and influence in the new energy sector.
