On the morning of October 27, the 2025 China Tennis Tour CTA 800 Changzhou Open kicked off at the Changzhou Olympic Sports Center Tennis Complex. The competition will run through November 2.

Recognized as a high-level professional event, the Changzhou Open features four competition categories: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, and women’s doubles, with a total prize pool of 500,000 yuan. The tournament has drawn 164 professional athletes from over ten provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country, promising intense competition.

The tournament boasts a star-studded lineup, with many of China’s top-ranked players taking part. The participation of foreign athletes has further enhanced the event’s international profile and spectator appeal.

Since successfully hosting the China Tennis Tour Elite Finals in 2020, the Changzhou division has been repeatedly recognized as an “Outstanding Event Zone” for its excellent organization. Hosting this CTA 800-level tournament marks yet another step up for Changzhou in attracting and staging high-level sporting events.
