The Fourth Changzhou Business Forum organized by the Italy-China Chamber of Commerce (CCIC), together with the official opening of the CCIC Changzhou Office and China-Italy (Changzhou) Smart Manufacturing Park, was successfully held on June 19 in Jintan Hua Luogeng High-Tech Development Zone.

In recent years, Jintan district has become one of the preferred investment destinations for foreign enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region, boasting a vibrant development environment and excellent business climate. The district has attracted 76 companies headquartered in German-speaking countries and several prominent Italian investments including Vigel and Spanesi.

To further enhance its role as an open platform for international cooperation, Hua Luogeng High-Tech Development Zone has developed the China-Italy (Changzhou) Smart Manufacturing Park, with the first phase scheduled for completion by the end of 2024. The park will consist of two single-story and two multi-story factory buildings, providing comprehensive facilities for production, research and development, exhibition and business services.

During the event, several key projects officially settled in the park, including the CCIC Changzhou Office, Italian Food Import Trading Platform, Meson (Changzhou) Flow Control System, and Main Tech.

Established in 1991, the Italy-China Chamber of Commerce has been serving as a crucial bridge for economic and trade cooperation between China and Italy, promoting the development of Italian enterprises in China. With professional services including market analysis, policy consultation and business matchmaking, the newly opened CCIC Changzhou Office will further support Italian companies in the region.

Since the beginning of this year, following the settlement of Italian companies including Main Tech, CICC, and Italian Food and Feed Export Promotion Association (BRIFF), the China-Italy (Changzhou) Smart Manufacturing Park is rapidly becoming an important base for Italian and other European companies in China. Hua Luogeng High-Tech Development Zone will seize this opportunity to provide comprehensive services including talent recruitment and financial support, contributing to the high-level opening-up of Jintan and Changzhou as a whole.
