The Regulations on the Protection of the Sanxing Village Site in Changzhou (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations) is an official legislative item included in the Changzhou Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee's 2025 legislative plan. To further improve the draft after its first reading, Bai Yunping, Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, led a legislative research visit to Jintan District on September 23.

The research team conducted on-site inspections of the Sanxing Village Site protection area and the Sanxing Village Site Museum project, gaining a detailed understanding of the site's preservation efforts, archaeological work, and the integration of cultural heritage with tourism.

The research team emphasized that formulating the regulation is an essential step in implementing the guidelines for cultural relics protection in the new era and a strong guarantee for preserving and utilizing the value of the Sanxing Village Site. During the visit, they called for solid efforts in site protection, a problem-oriented approach, and strengthened research to fully tap into the value of cultural relic resources. The team also urged the use of digital and intelligent technologies, the integration of cultural heritage protection with tourism planning, and the continued advancement of both preservation and adaptive reuse of the site.
