From Aug 24 to 28, Changzhou hosted a series of public service activities for outdoor workers. At new energy vehicle charging hubs, volunteers provided free hot meals, drinking water, and places to rest for truck drivers, ride-hailing drivers, sanitation workers, and others working outdoors. The initiative offered practical support to frontline employees and reflected the city's care for those who keep the city running.

The initiative was sponsored by the Changzhou Urban Management Bureau and jointly organized by Changzhou Smart Parking Management Holdings Co., Ltd. and Wuxi Qinglang New Energy Co., Ltd.

The initiative further expands the benefits of Changzhou's "frictionless parking" service. Existing driver lounges at the charging stations have been repurposed as free public service points, creating a seamless service experience that brings together parking, charging, rest, and refreshments in one place.

The initiative also introduced exclusive AI-powered self-service car wash offers. Users who newly activate frictionless payment through the local charging platform can enjoy car washes for just 1.9 yuan per wash, while drivers charging their vehicles on site can access the service for 6.9 yuan per wash. A total of 500 discounted car washes are available.
