The first stop of the 2026 “AI Plus” Yangtze River Delta New Media Tour was held in Changzhou on August 11–12. Journalists and online influencers from Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, joined local journalists and content creators from Changzhou to explore the city’s distinctive AI applications and emerging AI hubs.

During their two-day visit, the delegation toured a number of AI-focused sites and businesses in Changzhou, including the Changzhou AI Product Selection Center, the West Taihu (Changzhou) International AI Community and Changzhou Sifary Medical Technology Co., Ltd. They gained a firsthand look at the city’s dynamic innovation ecosystem, a diverse range of AI-powered products, and the innovative local companies putting AI to practical use.

“Changzhou is well known for its strong manufacturing sector, so we were curious about how AI is being applied in local manufacturing,” said Jiang Yiting, a journalist with the Jiaxing News Media Center. After seeing how AI is being integrated into local industries and everyday life, she said she was impressed by the city’s practical, application-driven approach to AI development.

“It’s my first time in Changzhou, and the experience has really opened my eyes,” said Yu Nan, a Jiaxing-based content creator. Over the course of the two-day visit, he interacted with a range of AI products and gained a firsthand sense of the strong momentum behind AI development in Changzhou.

The 2026 Digital Yangtze River Delta Development Conference, part of the World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit, is scheduled to take place in November. With the conference as a backdrop, the tour focuses on three themes: the application of AI across a wide range of scenarios, coordinated development of the AI industry across the Yangtze River Delta, and the accelerated development of new quality productive forces. It aims to explore and showcase the latest applications and practices in AI across Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui. Coverage from the tour will be featured at the Digital Yangtze River Delta Development Conference and related events.
