On March 11, an Austrian electrical monitoring and control technology project officially signed an agreement to settle in the Sino-German (Changzhou) Innovation Industry Park (SGIP), Jintan. The signing came just one day after foreign representatives first visited the Jintan District for a site inspection.
The project's investor, TELE, headquartered in Vienna, Austria, is considered a "hidden champion" in the field of industrial automation. Its products and services include monitoring relays, time relays, load management solutions, and an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform, which are widely used in energy management, smart grids, industrial automation, and infrastructure construction.
Christoph Hatzer, a key decision-maker for the TELE Family Foundation, stated at the signing ceremony: "After inspecting other locations, we came to Jintan, Changzhou. The government services and the hardware and software facilities here are absolutely perfect. Jintan became our sole choice for investment."
Under the agreement, TELE will establish a Chinese sales office and R&D center at the Sino-German (Changzhou) Innovation Industry Park to expand its business in the Chinese market. The company will also build a production base in Jintan. The focus will be on strengthening product development capabilities and collaborating with local manufacturers to advance localized production.
This marks the fifth project and the second Austrian project to sign with the SGIP in 2026. To date, the park has attracted a total of 88 companies from German-speaking regions.
