On January 12, the Changzhou high-density optoelectronic integrated circuit board project, invested in and developed by WUS Printed Circuit Co., Ltd., was officially signed and settled in Jintan District, Changzhou.
WUS Printed Circuit Co., Ltd. is a Sino-foreign joint venture specializing in the research and development, design, and manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCBs). Headquartered in Kunshan, Suzhou, the company has become a leading enterprise and prominent brand in China's mid- to high-end PCB segment, and has been listed among the world's top 100 PCB manufacturers for multiple times.
The Changzhou project signed this time is being developed by a wholly foreign-owned enterprise established by WUS. The project focuses on the research and development, manufacturing, and sales of high-density optoelectronic integrated circuit boards.
The project has upgraded its key product process technology from 75 micrometers to 30 micrometers. With a planned total investment of USD 300 million, its products are already widely applied in high-speed communications fields such as artificial intelligence, delivering more than three times the power performance of previous-generation products. Upon full completion and ramp-up, the project is expected to add an annual production capacity of 1.3 million high-density optoelectronic integrated circuit boards and generate additional annual operating revenue of approximately CNY 2 billion.
