Recently, the application for the title of State AAAA Tourist Area of Changzhou Filial Piety Park has been approved, and the plaque will be awarded shortly.

The Changzhou Filial Piety Park is located in tourist resort of Taihu Lake Bay, Wujin District, which is the only park themed with ‘Xiao’ (filial piety) in China. It was opened officially on September 16, 2012. To apply for the title of State AAAA Tourist Area, the staff of the Park has visited other qualified scenic spots like Chunqiu Yancheng to learn from their successful experience. With joint efforts, the Park accomplished environment improvement, tourist accounts, image publicity and new scenic spots like Xiaozi (dutiful children) Corridor, which in the meantime improved its service quality and tourist facilities.

The Changzhou Filial Piety Park successfully passed the examination by relevant authority of Jiangsu Provincial Tourism Administration, and was nominated among the State AAAA Tourist Areas in October 2014. After the publicity period, the Park was officially awarded the title of State AAAA Tourist Area on December 1, 2014.
