Adidas on March 31 unveiled the home and away kits for all 13 teams competing in the 2026 Jiangsu Football City League, at a launch event in Nanjing.
Changzhou’s home kit features a vivid red base with flowing dragon motifs rendered in an ink-wash style, evoking movement and energy reminiscent of traditional Chinese painting. The away kit adopts a white-and-green palette inspired by the city tree, the magnolia, and incorporates subtle geometric patterns drawn from the ancient city wall.
The kits were co-developed by Adidas' Creation Center Shanghai in collaboration with local authorities and teams. While maintaining professional performance standards, the designs aim to reflect each city’s cultural identity.
Home kits draw on historical and cultural elements, while away kits highlight contemporary urban character, offering a contrast between tradition and modernity.
Typography also varies between the two designs. The home kit features calligraphy-inspired lettering with bold, brushstroke textures, while the away kit uses a cleaner, more structured font influenced by modern architecture.
All home kits feature a Mandarin collar, combining traditional aesthetics with functionality for athletic wear.
Following their official debut, the match kits and fan apparel are set to go on sale starting in April.
