On December 3rd, it was learned from the Municipal Intellectual Property Office that Changzhou has been recognized as National Model City for IPR Protection by the State Intellectual Property Office.
The evaluation of National Model City for IPR Protection is conducted in accordance with a city's efforts in IPR protection, completed schedules and innovation indicators. Currently, there are 53 national IPR model cities, including 48 prefecture-level cities and five county-level cities.
From January to October this year, Changzhou has applied for 24,577 patents. As of the end of October, the city has a total of 6,229 valid invention patents.
