The 10th anniversary of Wujin district’s "United in Care: Moving Forward with Love" charity art sale has garnered enthusiastic participation from artists and organizations across the region, according to an announcement by the Jiusan Society Changzhou Municipal Committee. To date, the event has collected 95 donated artworks with a combined estimated value of 2.2 million yuan. These works will be showcased at the Wujin District Museum from April 20 through May 21.
The exhibition features a distinguished collection of calligraphy, paintings and handicrafts. Notably, 70 percent of participating artists hold senior professional titles including national first-class artists and university professors, while 75 percent are members of China's prestigious art associations such as the China Artists Association and China Calligraphers Association. The show includes contributions from more than twenty nationally recognized masters.
Organizers have partnered with the Wujin Disabled Persons' Federation to arrange special museum tours for community residents with disabilities during the exhibition period. The program will be supplemented with mental health workshops and guided visits to local "Beautiful Village" demonstration sites, all designed to amplify the impact of the "Art Empowers People with Disabilities" initiative.
Established as a flagship philanthropic program in Wujin, the charity art sale has achieved remarkable success over its nine previous editions. To date, the event has generated 2.15 million yuan through art sales, attracted 8.77 million yuan in matching funds, and welcomed more than 20,000 visitors.
