On 21 September, the Suzhou Changzhou Chamber of Commerce was officially inaugurated. The ceremony was attended by Zhu Min, Chairman of the Suzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC); Suzhou municipal leaders Wang Yang, Wu Xiaodong, and Zhou Jun; and Pan Dongling, Vice Mayor of Changzhou.
During the first general assembly, members reviewed and approved the Constitution of the Suzhou Changzhou Chamber of Commerce and the Membership Fee and Management Measures. The meeting also elected the first Board of Directors and Supervisory Board, with Xue Chenyang, Chairman of Suzhou Yuancheng Technology Co., Ltd., appointed as the first president.
At the inauguration ceremony, plaques were unveiled for the Suzhou Changzhou Chamber of Commerce and its Party Branch, followed by the presentation of honorary awards to distinguished entrepreneurs and the signing of several cooperation agreements.
Currently, the Chamber has 135 registered member enterprises, spanning sectors such as manufacturing, construction, retail, and services. The establishment of the Suzhou Changzhou Chamber of Commerce provides a vital platform for Changzhou entrepreneurs based in Suzhou to connect, share resources, and pursue collaborative growth. It also injects new vitality into economic and cultural exchanges between Suzhou and Changzhou, further strengthening the bonds between the two dynamic Jiangsu cities.
