On March 10, the 11th Council of the Changzhou Red Cross convened its fourth meeting. Pan Dongling, Vice Mayor of Changzhou and President of the Changzhou Red Cross, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

In 2025, the Red Cross Society of China Changzhou Branch made every effort to build itself into "a guardian by your side" for every resident. Throughout the year, it completed first-aid training for 30,000 people and general training for 190,000 people. It successfully fulfilled emergency security tasks for over 50 major events, including the Jiangsu City Football League, Taihu Bay Music Festival, and West Taihu Lake Half Marathon. The organization registered 859 people in the hematopoietic stem cell database, with 17 successful donations (bringing the cumulative total to 131 cases). Additionally, there were 22 cases of human organ donations and 38 body donations. The city's Red Cross system received a total of 49.67 million yuan in donations and materials, a year-on-year increase of 43%, ranking fourth in the province. Over the year, 10 new volunteer service points were added, and more than 2,000 new volunteers were registered.

The meeting emphasized that this year, the city's Red Cross system shall closely align with the needs of the Party and government, address the urgent concerns of the public, and fully carry out its duties. It aims to achieve new breakthroughs and demonstrate new achievements in areas such as mobilizing humanitarian resources, safeguarding life safety, and integrating into grassroots governance.
