It was learned from Changzhou Airport on January 18 that direct flights between Changzhou and Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport will start on February 1.

The flights (MU2909/10) are operated by China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu Ltd. on Airbus A320 jets, flying every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The schedule is as following: departing from Changzhou at 8 A.M. and arriving in Taipei at 9:30 A.M.; and departing from Taipei at 10:30 A.M. and arriving in Changzhou at 12:50 A.M. The minimum one-way fares are 1,800 yuan (not including taxes of 364 yuan) and the minimum round trip fares are 1,100 yuan if booked 45 days in advance (not including taxes of 698 yuan). On the first day of flight, the fares will be 1,800 yuan for one-way trip (not including taxes of 364 yuan) and 1,500 yuan for round trip (not including taxes of 698 yuan).

Going forward, Changzhou Airport will add three international routes to Bangkok, Phuket and Vientiane in this February.
