On March 3, the Changzhou Urban Management and Administration Bureau announced the city's 2026 flower-themed events. A total of 31 events will be held throughout the year, featuring 18 varieties of flowers across 23 parks.
The 2026 Changzhou flower calendar has been finalized, promising beautiful blooms from early spring through late autumn. Kicking off the season, the Red Plum Blossom Festival at the Red Plum Park will run from mid-February to the end of March. From March to April, a succession of flowers will be celebrated with special events: cherry blossoms at Yancheng Spring and Autumn Amusement Park, crabapple blossoms at Jingchuan Park, peach blossoms at Weidun Heritage Park, and peonies at Dongpo Park, among others.
From late spring to early summer (April to May), Changzhou's city flower—the Chinese rose—along with wisteria, iris, azalea, rose, and hydrangea will be in full bloom, creating spectacular floral seas at Zijing Park, the Photovoltaic Industry Park, and other locations. Summer will feature a lotus exhibition, while autumn brings sunflower displays at Weidun, along with miscanthus at the Photovoltaic Park, osmanthus at Xilin Park, and a maple leaf art week at Qingfeng Park. The year's floral events will conclude in early November with a chrysanthemum exhibition, ensuring a continuous celebration of urban horticulture across all four seasons.
