A core components project for embodied intelligence was signed on December 17 to be established in Changzhou National High-Tech Zone. Wang Jianfeng, secretary of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, met with Han Li, executive director and chief financial officer of China Oriental Group, and executive vice president of Jinxi Group, along with his delegation.
Jinxi Group is a large diversified enterprise group backed by China Oriental Group. Centered on green structural steel products, the group has expanded into power transmission and prefabricated steel structures, while actively fostering high-tech businesses. It reports annual revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan. In 2025, the group will enter the precision robot joint reducer segment as part of a strategy focused on specialization, strengthening core capabilities and moving up the value chain.
The newly signed project will manufacture core joint components for embodied intelligence, including RV reducers. The products will be applied across industrial robot arms, automobiles, CNC machine tools, aerospace equipment and power generation systems, and are expected to play a key role in advancing domestic substitution of high-end RV reducers.
Wang welcomed Han and his delegation and thanked Jinxi Group for choosing Changzhou as an investment destination. He said Changzhou has built its development on a strong manufacturing base, supported by a complete industrial ecosystem. During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the city will accelerate the development of future industries such as artificial intelligence, embodied intelligence and synthetic biology, while promoting deeper integration between technological and industrial innovation to foster new growth drivers.
Noting the solid foundation of cooperation between Jinxi Group and Changzhou, Wang said both municipal and district authorities will continue to improve the business environment and provide full-lifecycle support to ensure the project’s construction and operation proceed smoothly.
Han thanked Changzhou for its support and said the move into precision robot joint reducers aligns with national development priorities and Jinxi Group’s efforts to upgrade its industrial structure toward higher-end, greener and more intelligent manufacturing. He said the company has been impressed by Changzhou’s industrial base, talent pool and business environment, and expressed hope that both sides would deepen collaboration along the industrial chain to accelerate project implementation and jointly build a new “intelligent manufacturing” brand.
Pan Dongling, vice mayor of Changzhou, also attended the meeting.
