The thematic salon "Smart Manufacturing Unlocked: Changzhou Innovation Talks" was successfully held at Changzhou Science & Education Town on November 27, gathering experts and industry leaders to discuss digital intelligence breakthroughs in manufacturing.
During the event, two key platforms were officially inaugurated: the Industrial Software Jiangsu Sub-Center, affiliated with China's National Engineering Research Center for Manufacturing Automation (NERC-MA), and the Changzhou Branch of China Machinery Digital Technology (CMDT). These launches signify deeper integration of China's cutting-edge industrial software capabilities with the Yangtze River Delta's advanced manufacturing base, providing robust support for Changzhou's industrial upgrade.
The Beijing Research Institute of Automation for Machinery Industry (BRAMI), a subsidiary of China Academy of Machinery Science & Technology Group, operates several national-level innovation platforms, including a post-doctoral research workstation. Meanwhile, CMDT specializes in domestically developed industrial software, offering end-to-end digital intelligence solutions.
By establishing their presence in Changzhou, these platforms will leverage BRAMI and CMDT's expertise in industrial software to deliver demand-driven, scalable solutions—spanning industrial R&D, digital twins, smart manufacturing, and data-driven decision-making.
Industry experts exchanged insights during in-depth discussions, covering critical topics such as smart manufacturing transformation strategies and emerging technology applications.
