Changzhou municipal leaders continue to advance economic and trade exchanges in Shanghai

Recently, Wang Jianfeng, Secretary of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, has continued to lead a delegation in Shanghai for economic and trade exchanges. The visit focuses on engaging with key business partners, advancing project collaborations, and linking innovation resources. These efforts aim to fully integrate Changzhou into the Shanghai metropolitan area, accelerate the deep integration of industrial and technological innovation, and jointly explore new pathways for high-quality development.

At PTL Group, the delegation’s first stop, Wang held talks with its CEO Liang Feng. Since establishing its presence in Liyang in 2017, PTL has established a few subsidiaries in Changzhou over the past decade, launched key new energy battery material projects, including anode materials and coated separators. Secretary Wang noted PTL as a longstanding partner of Changzhou, with years of dedicated development in the city, building a foundation of deep mutual trust and cooperation. He expressed hope that both sides would continue to work together to facilitate the implementation of more high-quality projects. Liang Feng responded that, supported by a robust industrial ecosystem and business environment, Changzhou has become one of PTL's most important industrial bases. He affirmed the company's commitment to further increasing its investment and footprint in Changzhou, and to facilitating the localization of more core technologies.

At Zhiyuan Robot, Secretary Wang met with its co-founder, president and CTO Peng Zhihui. As a Unicorn enterprise, the company is accelerating the application of embodied intelligence in industrial manufacturing and commercial services. According to Wang, Changzhou is promoting to empower different sectors with AI, as the latter has a wide range of application scenarios; and cooperation opportunities abound. Peng said that the company is developing robotic products featuring the Changzhou cultural IP, as a way to promote the city’s cultural and tourism branding. He believed more in-depth cooperation will be achieved in industry coordination, data collection and model training, with a view to jointly incubating industrial embodied intelligence products under independent Changzhou brands.

The delegation also visited Autoliv and SGS. Since establishing its factory in Jintan in 2012, Autoliv has continued to expand its production capacity and has been recognized as a five-star enterprise in Changzhou for many years. Secretary Wang expressed his appreciation for the company’s longstanding support to Changzhou’s development. SGS is a global leader in inspection, testing and certification. The two sides had discussions on how to strengthen the local industrial support services and further deepen cooperation.

At AISHU Information Technology Co., Ltd., Vice Mayor Pan Dongling, along with its CEO He Hongfu, witnessed the signing of a data intelligence agent project. In the future, AISHU will develop an R&D base in Changzhou to realize the commercialization of intelligence agent in emergency service and public transport.
