On the afternoon of January 10, a signing ceremony was held in the Zhonglou District for the headquarters of Meijun Electronic Technology and its automotive electronic controller manufacturing project.

The project is planned with a total investment of approximately CNY 300 million and will involve the development of a modern industrial base integrating R&D, production, and testing. Covering an area of about 2.87 hectares with a total gross floor area of 35,000 square meters, the facility will include production workshops, an R&D center, administrative offices, and supporting laboratories. The project aims to establish a full chain capability for intelligent automotive electronic controllers, spanning from design to mass production.

Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate an annual revenue of around CNY 500 million and annual tax contributions of approximately CNY 25 million.

As a nationally recognized "Little Giant" enterprise, Meijun Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. possesses full-stack in-house R&D capabilities spanning hardware, base software, and application algorithms. The company has obtained multiple industry-level certifications and achieved domestic substitution breakthroughs in a number of core electronic control products. To date, it has delivered more than 8 million controller units in total and has established stable supply relationships with leading automakers including FAW, SAIC, Dongfeng, Geely, and NIO. Over the past five years, the company has recorded a compound annual revenue growth rate of nearly 30%.

In the future, Meijun Electronic will connect upstream chip and component manufacturers with downstream vehicle OEMs and parts suppliers, further strengthening Changzhou's cluster advantages in new energy vehicle electronics. At the same time, the project will include the development of a standardized automotive electronics laboratory, enhancing regional R&D and validation capabilities and supporting Changzhou in building a more complete and collaborative new energy vehicle industry ecosystem.
