Jiangsu Province has launched its first vaccination clinic built on the innovative “Four-in-One” model, with the new service officially opening on 6 August at the Yonghong Community Health Service Centre in Changzhou’s Zhonglou District.
The model integrates service groups, service hours, vaccine varieties, and medical-preventive functions, aiming to provide more flexible, comprehensive and efficient vaccination access.
Expanded Access and Convenience
The clinic operates six days a week, offering two service sessions daily from Monday to Saturday. Citizens—whether parents with children or adults seeking vaccination—can book appointments through the “Jiangsu Vaccination” mobile app or attend directly, ensuring “vaccination anytime, six days a week.”
The service covers both Jiangsu’s compulsory childhood immunisation programme and more than 20 optional vaccines for children and adults, including the five-in-one vaccine, pneumonia vaccines, HPV, shingles, MMR and meningococcal vaccines. The one-stop approach removes the need for multiple appointments at different sites.
From Injection to Holistic Care
On its first day, doctors at the clinic reviewed the health records of an elderly patient with recurrent respiratory issues and issued a “preventive vaccination prescription” for the 23-valent pneumococcal vaccine. This shift marks a significant upgrade—from simple injections to a full process of assessment, prescription, vaccination and follow-up care—designed to better protect high-risk groups with chronic conditions.
