From November 5 to 10, the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Shanghai. Among exhibitors, there were eleven multinationals with investment projects in Changzhou. This has provided a fast track for local enterprises to access global supply chains.
With the theme of "New Era, Shared Future," this year's CIIE brought together participants from 155 countries, regions, and international organizations, featuring 4,108 overseas exhibitors and a total exhibition area exceeding 430,000 square meters—the largest scale in the event's history.
The Changzhou trade delegation, composed of 23 member departments, launched its registration for buyers and professional visitors in early September, while also inviting the overseas headquarters of foreign-invested enterprises in Changzhou to participate in the Expo.
A total of 11 overseas headquarters joined the event, including Kanghui Medical Instruments Co., Ltd., Wilo (Changzhou) Pumps Co., Ltd., Sumitomo Electric Interconnect Products (Changzhou) Ltd., Changzhou Mitsubishi Electric Shilin Electric Equipment Co., Ltd., Ingersoll Rand (Changzhou) Tools Co., Ltd., Siemens Energy Electrical Equipment (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., Baker Hughes Sensing & Inspection (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., and Pigeon Baby Products (Changzhou) Co., Ltd.
Nearly 2,000 participants from Changzhou registered for the Expo; among them, over 900 representatives from 300 enterprises took part in on-site business negotiations and procurement activities.
