On October 10, the two-day “2012 Changzhou Philatelic Exhibition-celebrating The18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China” opened in Changzhou Art Institute.
　　The Philatelic Exhibition sets seven categories, such as traditional philately, postal history, youth philately, etc., covering 59 philatelic collections and 158 international standard exhibition boxes. Several local philatelists were invited to exhibit their award-winning philatelic works as the honorary exhibiting items.
　　According to research, Changzhou is the cradle of China Philatelic Exhibition. Early in May 1918, the first China Philatelic Exhibition was held in the People's Park of Changzhou.
