May 30 marks the 10th National Science and Technology Workers' Day. On May 29, Chen Zhiliang, head of the Municipal Publicity Department, led a delegation to visit the representatives of sci-tech workers in Changzhou, and sent festival greetings to them.

The delegation visited Xie Yimin, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, breeding team of Jiangsu (Wujin) Rice Research Institute, and  Dai Jinda, director of the Lanling Sub-district Community Medical Service Center. During the visit, Chen Zhiliang asked about their work progress and living conditions. He expressed gratitude for the sci-tech workers' long term commitment to scientific research and dedication to local development.

According to Chen, the Changzhou government will continue to optimize services, providing a vast platform for sci-tech workers to pursue their dreams. It is also his hope that the sci-tech workers will look into the local development needs and translate research outcome into tangible fruits.
