Recently, the R&D and manufacturing base for new energy functional materials (Phase II) of Hongju Group was completed and put into operation. As a major industrial project in Changzhou, the base will strengthen the entire supporting ecosystem for new energy functional material industry in the city. It will provide systematic material solutions for local new energy and consumer electronics enterprises, lowering the cost of supply chains.
With a total investment of 200 million yuan, the Phase II production base of Hongju Group covers an area of 2.2 hectares. It focuses on four industrial sectors: polymer materials, thermal management materials, metallic engineering materials and precision die-cutting processing. The base is equipped with over 20 automated production lines, and boasts an annual capacity up to 30 million m2 of PC/PP raw materials, and 600 tons of silicone rubber products.
With the completion of the Phase II project, Hongju Group has further optimized its resource allocation. Its two subsidiaries, Hongjun and Hong Jing Sheng, have moved back to Changzhou, and settled within the new base. The installation and commissioning of equipment are now underway. It is expected that the relocation will add 100 million yuan in sales revenue to the group.
Starting from die-cutting processing in consumer electronics field, Hongju Group seizes the opportunity in the new energy sector to integrate the development, production, and functional device processing of new materials, becoming a national "Little Giant" enterprise supplying special, and innovative products. Apart from its expertise in new energy materials, the group has entered emerging fields including embodied intelligence and AI servers, broadening its business footprint. The company has already secured long-term partnership with multiple clients. Over the years, Hongju Group has completed three rounds of financing and received continued investment from state-owned capital entities across national, provincial, municipal and district levels.
