On October 16, Sheng Yuechun, Mayor of Shaoxing, Zhejiang province, led a delegation to Changzhou. Mayor Ding Chun, Executive Deputy Mayor Cao Jiazhong and Secretary-General Hang Yong accompanied site inspection.

At the exchange meeting between the two cities, Changzhou leaders hope that the two sides will further strengthen communication and expand cooperation, especially in the areas of economic and trade cooperation, industrial development and cultural exchanges, and achieve complementary advantages and common development.

Sheng Yuechun said that Changzhou's many practices and experiences in accelerating industrial transformation and upgrading, promoting innovation-driven development, and improving the business environment are worth learning from. He hopes that both sides will jointly seize the opportunity of integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and carry out in-depth exchanges in the fields of new energy, new materials, biomedicine and intelligent equipment.

The Shaoxing Municipal Government delegation visited Changzhou Science and Education Town, China Graphene Technology Industry Exhibition Center, Trina Solar, Qianhong Bio-pharma, KTK Group, Hengli Hydraulic and other enterprises to learn more about Changzhou’s work in science and technology innovation and business environment improvement.
