It is informed that Changzhou in Jiangsu province will host the semi-finals in new energy of the 2nd China's Dual-use Technology Innovation and Application Competition in late August.

Covering seven technology fields, including the new generation of information technology, new materials, high-end CNC machine tools and robots, the competition aims to promote technological innovation in both the civil and military fields and accelerate wide application of innovative achievements.

Recently, private enterprises have taken an active part in technological innovation of civil-military integration. A total of 326 entries from both private and State-owned enterprises are involved in the semifinals.

The final competition will be hosted in Chengdu, Sichuan province on Sept 26.
