On August 27, it was learned from the Municipal Human Resources & Social Security Bureau that two colleges of Changzhou have been selected into the list of China's training bases for the 45th WorldSkills Competition, namely Changzhou Technician College, Jiangsu Province and Jiangsu Urban and Rural Construction College.

Changzhou Technician College, Jiangsu Province is selected as the training base for the industrial machinery assembly project and the manufacturing team. Jiangsu Urban and Rural Construction College is selected as the training base for the concrete construction project.

The city of Kazan, Russia, will host the 45th WorldSkills Competition in 2019. A total of 7 students from Changzhou have been selected into the National Training Team, including 5 students of Changzhou Technician College, Jiangsu Province and 2 students of Jiangsu Urban and Rural Construction College.
