On October 15, the 124th Autumn Canton Fair 2018 was grandly opened at the Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou. 249 exhibitors from Changzhou set up 467 booths at the Fair, involved in 41 exhibition areas of power equipment, engineering machinery, auto parts, consumer electronics, hardware tools, building materials, new energy, household items, garden products, men's and women's clothing, medical insurance, sports and tourism products, textile fabrics, etc.

On the first day, deputy mayor Liang Yibo and his delegation inspected Changzhou’s booths of the 124th Canton Fair, and talked with the exhibitors of Changchai, AKSA, Yoau Electric Appliance, Zhongxin Desai Wood Product, Lodgi Floor, Yaships Lighting, and others, in order to learn about the detail information such as the performance, characteristics, advantages and marketable objects of their new products exhibited at the Fair.

Liang Yibo encouraged the participating enterprises to further strengthen brand awareness, take the initiative to transform and upgrade, increase independent research and development, seize the market with higher product added value, and actively explore the market in Belt and Road countries. He stressed that all relevant departments shall vigorously publicize the policies and measures to support enterprises, listen to their demands and help them solve problems. He hoped the exhibitors will make full use of the platform of the Canton Fair and display a good image of Changzhou.

Canton Fair(China Import and Export Fair) is the largest trade fair with the largest scale, the most complete exhibit variety, the broadest distribution of overseas buyers and the greatest business turnover held in Guangzhou(Canton) China. Nearly 20,000 venders, about 200,000 buyers will attend the fair at China Import and Export Complex twice a year.
