On April 18, the signing ceremony of China Railway Fifth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. (CR5DI) Changzhou Branch was held in Changzhou Economic Development Zone. Tang Youfu, president and party secretary of CR5DI, and Shi Zhijun, vice mayor of Changzhou and party secretary of Wujin District, attended the ceremony.

CR5DI is a key subsidiary of China Railway Construction Corporation Ltd., one of the the Fortune 500 Companies.

The branch in Changzhou has a total investment of 500 million yuan, with a construction area of 67,674.6 square meters. It will focus on specialized research, technology exchanges and exhibition, business incubation, personnel training, technology transfer, testing and inspection, comprehensive support services and production services. The Changzhou branch is expected to reach annual revenue of 1 billion yuan and annual profits of over 100 million yuan by the end of the "13th Five-Year Plan”.
