From Nov 24 to 26, Dr. Karunasena Kodituwakku, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to China, and Jiang Qinzheng, former Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, headed a delegation to Changzhou to promote exchanges and cooperation in economic and social fields.

On the afternoon of Nov 24, Mayor Ding Chun met with the delegation at the Administration Center.

Ding hoped that both sides will step up mutual visits and exchanges, upgrade trade levels and seek further cooperation in modern agriculture, culture and tourism.

Jiang hoped to portray Changzhou’s sightseeing agriculture development model and characteristic town project to Sri Lanka, and enhance exchanges and cooperation between the two sides especially in tourism and culture.
