On October 30, twenty-three locally transmitted cases of Covid-19 (21 in Nanjing and two in Wuxi) were confirmed and registered in Jiangsu province.

Eleven local asymptomatic carriers (six in Nanjing, three in Suzhou, one in Nantong, and one in Yangzhou) were newly reported in the province.

An inbound confirmed case and six symptomless cases were reported in the province.

Thirteen hospitalized Covid-19 patients were discharged, while 28 asymptomatic carriers (19 local and nine inbound) were released from medical observation.

A hundred and forty-five confirmed cases (121 local and 24 inbound) are still undergoing treatment at designated hospitals, while 241 asymptomatic carriers (181 local and 60 inbound) are currently under medical observation in isolation.

As of this update, China's list of virus transmission zones stands at 2,590 high-risk, 1,853 medium-risk, and 321 low-risk areas.
