Recently, the first set of MGT6100 gas turbine was successfully assembled in MAN Diesel & Turbo China Production Co. Ltd., which fills the blank of gas turbine production in Changzhou.Vice Mayor Liang Yibo attended the event.

MAN Diesel & Turbo China Production Co. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of MAN Diesel & Turbo SE, was established in Wujin National Hi-Tech Industrial Zone (WIZ) in 2007 and is the only production base of MAN Diesel & Turbo outside of Europe.

The company develops and manufactures products for large-scale turbine machinery, mechanical components and systems, turbochargers, fluid bearings, system automation packages, and provides MAN PrimeServ after-sales service. Last year, the company achieved sales revenue of 260 million yuan.

The MGT6100 gas turbine adopts the latest technologies and combines the major advantages of aero engines and industrial heavy-duty gas turbines, and has achieved localized production and assembly in Changzhou plant, opening up a path for local enterprises and products to go global.
