A grand exhibition of Changzhou’s achievements in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC) opened on September 21 at the International Convention and Exhibition Center. Wang Quan, secretary of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, Ding Chun, mayor of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government, Yu Zhiping, chairman of CPPCC Changzhou Municipal Committee, Cai Jun, deputy secretary of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, and other leaders of the city attended the event.

Chen Tao, director of the Municipal Publicity Department of CPC, presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

The exhibition comprehensively reflects the practices, achievements and experience of the past 70 years, which witnessed great improvements in Changzhou's economy and people's living conditions under the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC). It contains seven thematic exhibition areas of the ‘Brilliant achievements,’ ‘Star City of Industry,’ ‘Star City of Tourism,’ ‘Star City of Management,’ ‘Happy Home & Happy Life,’ ‘Party Building Achievements’ and ‘Moral Models of Changzhou.’ More than 2,800 pictures, over 100 charts, nearly 100 pieces of objects and more than 20 videos are displayed at the exhibition during September 21 and October 8.
