On the morning of September 26, the delegation of Minden, Germany, led by Vice Mayor Lars Bursian, arrived in Changzhou to attend the 2019 China Changzhou International Forum on Science and Technology & Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. Deputy Mayor Chen Zhengchun met with the delegation.

Minden, sometimes also called Minden an der Weser or Minden (Westfalen) is in NRW,Germany. Changzhou and Minden became friendship cities in 2016, and the two sides have conducted close cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, fire protection, medical care, culture, tourism and education ever since.

Both sides hope to deepen mutual understanding and seek more cooperation opportunities in terms of technological innovation, industrial upgrading and new achievements in social development.

During their stay in Changzhou, the delegates held the Minden-Changzhou Enterprise Matchmaking Seminar and visited local public security and fire protection authorities.
