On the afternoon of September 4, Mayor Ding Chun met with Liang Feng, President of Shanghai Putailai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., at the Administration Center.

Ding Chun said that Changzhou is currently working hard to shape a high-quality industrial star city. The investment project of Putailai has an important impact on the improvement of Liyang’s lithium battery industry chain and its new energy battery industry cluster. All departments at all levels in Changzhou will continue to support enterprises through accurate, high-quality and efficient services.

Liang Feng said that Putailai will vigorously develop the market and actively introduce high-end technology R&D and sales talents, in order to accelerate project construction and build their most important manufacturing and R&D base.

Putailai focuses on key materials and automated processing equipment for lithium-ion batteries. In recent years, the company has successively invested in six projects in Liyang, with a total planned investment of about 10 billion yuan. At present, the total investment of the projects under construction has reached 5 billion yuan, and all of them will be put into production within the year.
